Greener Roofing & Solar has completed a roof replacement for Be Strong International’s Palmetto Bay headquarters. By transforming an aging, vulnerable roof into a High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) structural shield, we are ensuring a safe, stable environment for an organization that serves over 16,000 South Florida families annually.
A Shield for Those Who Strengthen Families
When we evaluate a building, we look beyond the surface. We look at the skeleton, the engineering, and the real-world impact of that structure. When we inspected the headquarters of Be Strong International (BSI), we didn’t just see an infrastructure problem—we saw a critical community asset at risk.
For over 30 years, Be Strong International has been a pillar in Miami-Dade County, equipping youth and families with vital relationship skills, financial literacy, and tools to break generational cycles of trauma. But an aging, compromised roof threatened to disrupt their life-changing Heart Skills® programming.
To ensure their team could focus 100% of their resources on community transformation rather than facility maintenance, The Greener Team stepped in to donate and install a fully compliant, engineered roof system

By applying our signature Greener process to the BSI headquarters, we installed a commercial-grade secondary water barrier (Peel-and-Stick) and advanced mechanical fastening systems. This ensures that even during peak tropical storm activity, the interior remains bone dry and fully operational.
As Palmetto Bay Mayor Karyn Cunningham noted during the official proclamation ceremony, this partnership stands as a blueprint for how local businesses can leverage their specific technical expertise to create tangible community resilience.
